What I really appreciate is that he fixed it rather than replace it. It is an older unit original to the house which was built in 2002 and bought by us in 2016. I'm told that makes it an old air conditioner by Florida standards. So even though I know it will have to be replaced at some point, there was no pressure from the repair guy to replace it right now. These guys came out once before exactly two years ago to fix the same unit. When I pointed this out to the repair guy, he said, I hope I don't see you again for two more years! I called them up and they came out right away at a regular service call. Come to find out we had a leak in a unrepairable spot and we needed to replace the whole system. So he got us two quotes to fit most economic up front cost and best warranty with lower overall operating cost. He was able to get us scheduled within a couple days and on top of that the Saturday charge for coming out and putting coolent in went against the new unit. They did a good job and got everything working again. When I called to set up the appointment they said I was scheduled for a maintenance call so they would do everything in one visit and moved my appointment up. When they came to do the work the service tech did the maintenance and said he was finished. My wife asked him about the problem we were having smelling burning wires. He was not aware we were having a problem. He was only scheduled to do a service call. When my wife made him aware he did the repair right away. They are always very polite and professional, and I will recommend them. My only suggestion would be to improve communication between the office staff and the service techs.
